Artist Statement
I created this robot based loosely on a runner, mainly because I enjoy the sport. Through this I refrenced other militarial robots, as well as the evolved Kaiju No. 13, from the manga and anime series 'Kaiju No. 8'. I choose to refrence this kaiju because of its running abilities. Through these aspects I took the horns form the Kaiju, and modified them to be more similar to a cyberpunk helmet. I did this because of the aerodynamics, and wanting the robot to be build for long distance as well as sprints. The colors of the Robot are not based on anything, but I wanted the deisgn to have more of a futuristic vibe, so I added a metal halo to emphasize this.
