Artist Statement
This sculpture is based off of the mythological three-headed dog Cerberus, who guards the entrance to the underworld. I decided to use this creature because I didn't want to do a humanoid creature, and because it reminded me of my dog. I thought it was very special because of its 3 heads, plus, I really enjoyed the Percy Jackson series. and this reminded me of it, so I thought this would be a fun way to refrence one of my favorite series.
