Artist Statement
Bloom is inspired by the way natural forms emerge from unexpected places. Using discarded scraps from classmates’ 3D prints, I reshaped the leftover pieces into a flower-like structure that feels both organic and engineered. The openings, curves, and layered surfaces echo the growth patterns found in petals, seeds, and unfolding leaves. By giving recycled materials a new life, the piece explores how beauty can grow from what is overlooked. Bloom ultimately reflects the tension and harmony between natural forms and human-made materials.
