Artist Statement
This piece explores how rhythm and pattern emerge from simple materials when they interact with light. By folding paper into organic, origami-inspired forms, I tried to echo the curves and repetitions found in nature—like shells, petals, and flowing water. Natural lighting became an essential part of the work, revealing new shadows and highlights as the forms shifted. The piece is ultimately a study of how structure and softness, pattern and light, come together to create a quiet sense of movement.
