Artist Statement
Having previously explored themes of self-identity, I wanted to extend this inquiry by focusing more closely on the emotional states that shape individual experience. Rather than showing these emotions literally, I represent them through symbolic and abstract forms. By experimenting with color relationships, layered textures, and mark-making, I aim to create a series that evokes tension, rhythm, and emotional complexity.
