Artist Statement
Tennis is less about who you're playing and whether your technique is better or theirs. “You're playing the ball, not the person.” This becomes even more complex when you compete individually yet as a team. As an individual sport, I’ve never thought about it being played together, hearing the support from the sidelines, but also the pressure within. When different playing styles and personalities are mixed together, what comes up is a really unforgettable experience, even from small details like the shoes, you see the differences.
