Artist Statement
When I was a kid, I was always scared of Godzilla, but now it has become one of my favourite trilogies and characters. This assignment took a lot of patience - I had to fix up finished parts again and again. Technicality-wise, the most challenging part is the facial expression. Given that it is not humanoid-like, to make sure that its facial expression is not neutral but angry is extremely tricky. Mainly, I focused on making the browage turn a specific angle that makes it look not only angry but intimidating and fearful.
