Artist Statement
I took inspiration from the main dragon from How to Train Your Dragon: Toothless. I want to sculpt a version of him, where he's miniature but also intimidating. So, I paint it all black, and also include kind of like Godzilla's dorsal plates. I painted different shades of green to make it look it is charging up a beam. To make it look small, I made its wings tiny in proportion to its body.
