Artist Statement
The exquisite corpse project was where three of us would each create a part of the body (head, torso, and legs) and put them together. I did the torso, and carved an alien guy with four arms and a coffee cup. The background looks super cool, and I made it by not carving out all the it and leaving some strips. We had to incorporate different textures into it, so I gave the alien some highlight lines on his arms. I really like how it all came out and was pretty fun to make, even though it was huge.
