Artist Statement
This piece was based on the phobia, Scopophobia, the intense fear of being watched. I used Blender to create this piece, modeling, using a plugin called Mtree, texturing using premade materials from Blenderkit, and rendering. I tweaked and improved the render using Photoshop.
I wanted my 3D scene to evoke the fear of being watched. I took inspiration from lenticels of certain birch tree species to create a forest to recreate/exagerate the same feeling of being watched when alone in a forest.
