Artist Statement
This piece was based on the phobia, Acrophobia, the intense fear of height. I used Blender to create this piece, modeling, texturing using premade materials from Blenderkit & Poliigon, and rendering. I tweaked and improved the render using Photoshop.
I wanted my 3D scene to evoke a sense of fear of height. This is a phobia I personally have. I wanted to recreate the feeling of looking down from a high place, where the depth below feels infinite.
