Artist Statement
For this assignment I used arc, curve, extrusion, and box tools to try and recreate the Arc de Triomphe in France and used a white marble material for the base of the arc and a darker marble material for the ledges on the arc. If I had more time I would have created a more accurate arc opening on the sides of the Arcde Triomphe and added more details such as cornice ledges, the engravings on the walls and ceiling of the main arc, and also the statues at the entrance.
