Artist Statement
My comfort space is backstage in the auditorium, in both the wings and the control booths. The dim lighting and the industrial vibe of the equipment makes me feel at home, especially after I've worked in the space for a while. The lighting booth has a carpeted floor with large windows overlooking the audience and to the stage. It has tables lining the wall, and gives me plenty of space to work. Its a place that I feel comfortable hanging out and working on shows in.
