Artist Statement
For this assignment we were supposed to sgraffito our partner's faces on the clay slab. The difficult part of this was that every mark with the sgraffito tool would be permanent, so we had to practice it on paper then transfer it to the clay. In the picture it looks completely pink because I painted clear glaze ontop, and it hasn't been fired yet.
