Course Description

As an honors course, Architecture is required before taking the
class. Students will continue to design structures, build models,
use technology to create forms, and render images while learning
about various concepts and design principles. Students will build
on their visual problem-solving skills and spatial organization
while exploring various kinds of relationships between people
and built forms and consider sustainability through designing,
drawing, and model-making. Assignments will explore advanced
design principles that outline the elements of architectural
design like those found at the university level. Students will gain
design thinking abilities that inspire and guide them in their own
creative process. Students will develop a positive web presence by
maintaining the web gallery.
