Artist Statement
This is a drawing I made with the magic pencil, which is a pencil with rainbow lead. In this drawing, we practiced shading, contrast, and hatching as we drew a power tool. I drew the hammer, because I think the shape of it is pretty simple, but also as a result creates lots of possibility.
