Artist Statement
I painted a bright yellow field remniscent of a wheat farm or something adjacent, and my goal was to make the viewer feel at peace or nostalgic. I had slightly differing shades of yellow to make the painting feel more diverse, but ultimately I still had a relatively simple painting with not that much detail to avoid confusion for the viewer.
