Artist Statement
I started molding the shape of the monster using the shape of a round alien head, but afterward, I see two seperate monsters that I'm quickly amused by, the first one has sharp teeth and vertical eyes, while the other one has a big ear and indented nose. Therefore I combined the characteristic of both monsters to make my own. To begin the sculpting digitally, I created a monster closest to the physical one as possible, and then I started adding new layers that represents different emotions. I used calm as the basic emotion and uses this emotion to build on the other emotions.
