Artist Statement
I created a robot based on the idea of armor and the rainbow surfaces on a beetle's body. I wanted my robot to have a "predator" like feeling, so I also looked at photos of mantises when I was designing it.I picked colors that are different from my original design after finish modeling the Robot as I believe it might make my design visually more interesting.
