Artist Statement
Reflection: During the process, I was able to establish the central effect I was aiming for relatively quickly. However, this also made it difficult to identify opportunities for further experimentation or changes. I think this was mainly due to the limited scale of the work, as the small canvas restricted how much I could physically engage with the painting. In the future, I would like to work on a much larger scale so that I can fully immerse myself in the painting process and explore more possibilities through movement, texture, and gesture. This is also one of the key differences I see between physical and digital painting: the physical presence and scale of a large canvas create an immersive experience that cannot be fully replicated through digital painting.
