Artist Statement
A painting that surprises me - took me way to long to realize there were animals in this painting...
A pianting that moves me -these eighty-eight individual cubbies seems to warn of humanities dystopian, sterile future
A painting that made me smile - this painting makes me miss an idealized simple childhood
A painting that made me cry - a beautifully sad combination of the small centered design accentuating the emotional isolation and the ghosts representing some lost past
A cool color palette - I love all the shades and tones of red, feels like everyone's shirts on field day!
A cool technique - this painting while completely imurged by its peers feels very separated by color choices
