Artist Statement
This artwork is meant to convey to complexity in ones identity. It's merely a walk with a friend, though the background contains multiple different aspects of my identity, and symbolizing the complexity in our everyday lives, even if we don't always realize it. From the Komonos were wearing, to the laundromat, to the camel in the road! All of thses details are different aspects that make up my identity, and shape me to be who I am. Allowing me to comfrotable with myself, enough to go out for a little walk with myself.
