Artist Statement
For this project, I wanted to combine the idea of a knight with a lizard. To achieve that, I designed a lizard with armor-like skin covering it. I intentionally made the colors of the lizard dark to symbolize the "night" in "knight". I made the lizard look similar to a dragon because I don't want to make something too identical to species that already exist on Earth. Also, because knights fight dragons a lot in stories,I linked the two concept together to create this creature.
