Artist Statement
This piece was based on the phobia, Autophoba, the intense fear of oneself, being alone, or left to face one's own thoughts. I used Blender to create this piece, digital sculpting the person, texturing using premade materials from Blenderkit, and rendering.
This was my first attempt of digital sculpting a person.
I wanted my 3D scene to depict the inner experience of autophobia. The crushing loneliness, self-loathing, and desperate need to change oneself, even through harmful means.
