Artist Statement
Project Description
Create a visually appealing montage of footage around Tianmu. This comes in handy when convincing someone to travel to Taiwan. We started by filming and editing a Campus Prototype in the Upper School Library, and then went off-campus to experiment with dynamic and static shots.
Reflection
After masking the footage over text, my walking transition flowed better and revealed the location of the shoot (Taipei, TW). I was out sick on one of the days, but that did not influence anything besides being new to some of the footage. If I were to start over, I would schedule our outing on a brighter day, since some of our shots on Day 2 were dull and gloomy due to the weather.
