Artist Statement
This project was really challenging because I needed to use an alien like face so I needed to first build the basic shapes in maya then go back into mudbox and make all the speicific facial expressions. One challenging part of the project was to make an adjustment and then go back another layer to edit it and make it perfect. I think it turned out really good because I have all the major epressions and also all the little bumps on the top and back of hi head which turned out to work really nicely. The painting color was anthor obstacle that i had to voercome because i couldn't choose correctly a reliable green so I had to do some web seraches to find the perfect match. In the end to create the angry facial expression i pulled his eye brows up and gave hime a frown which looked great at the end.
