Artist Statement
I was inspired by the beautiful south asian tradition of henna tattoos. The slip trailers in the studio weren't working for me, so I adapted the technique of using cones to pipe designs as seen in henna art. This enabled me to create detailed slip trailed peices with a lot of control over line thickness and placement.
