Artist Statement
Our film production class collaborated with the creative writing class to produce a film based on a poem we were provided. The poem I chose was "Wings of Resilience". This poem talks about the stages of life in a butterfly that applies to students who are stressed and are still in their shell, until "a split of light emerges," allowing freedom within.
