Artist Statement
The title "Faith" highlights the elements of Judaism displayed in both photos, including the Chamsa, Stars of David, Psalm book, and the two different types of candles used to welcome and conclude Shabbat (the Sabbath). The process of making these Photograms also helped me have faith in my artistic decisions, especially because of the spontaneous nature of analog photography.
