Artist Statement
For my final assignment I created a large house with a surrounding wall and gate. I made the house into an L shape and added an outdoor pool within the surrounding walls, additionally, I added a chimney to the roof, some chairs for the outdoor pool, and windows for the sides of the house. For the roof and chimney I used a grey roof tile material, for the base structure of the mansion I used a white concrete material and for the walls of the house I used grey concrete. Something that I really enjoyed about this project was making the house itself and choosing the materials to apply to the mansion. Something that I really struggled with in this project was deciding how to orient the house itself and what additional features that I could add to it, I also didn't have enough time to build an interior for the house which I really wanted to do.
