Artist Statement

This map is part of a game world I designed using Rhino 3D. My goal was to create an environment that feels exciting to explore but also supports the competitive gameplay I imagined. The main idea of the game is that two teams are racing to control at least three towers so they can enter the middle mountain, capture the flag, and win. I wanted the map to visually show that challenge while still being fun to navigate.

The tall towers are the most important parts of the design. I made them large and simple so they stand out from the rest of the environment and feel powerful. Around them, I placed many trees to build a small forest. This creates a natural setting but also makes the map feel more alive, almost like these ancient towers have been standing here for a long time. The forest isn’t just for decoration—it also affects how players move, see each other, and plan their strategies.

In the center, I built a big mountain with an entrance that leads to the final goal. I wanted the mountain to feel mysterious, like something players would be curious to reach, but also like a place that shouldn’t be easy to get into. Its size and shape make it the main focus of the entire map.

Overall, my goal was to design a game map that balances gameplay with visual storytelling. Even though it’s a simple environment, I wanted it to feel like a real place where something important is happening. Through the towers, the forest, and the central mountain, I tried to create a space that encourages strategy, teamwork, and exploration.
