Artist Statement
This piece is a dress I created using playing cards. I performed the design principle of rhythm and repetition. I repetitively used the shape of how people hold cards when playing the game Joker. This connects to my inquiry of remaking childhood memories into wearable fashion. I recreated my memories of playing joker with my friends and family into a dress that could be wear.
