Artist Statement
For this assignment I designed a large hen house for some chickens to live in, incorporating natural light and additional moving space so the chickens are not so packed together and the living environment is more natrual. For the first part of the hen house I designed a cage area with grass and bars which allow natural light into the cage so that the chickens can come into closer contact with nature. For the second part of the house I designed an area connected to the cage for additional moving space and an area where they can lay their eggs. I desgined a house like exterior for the second part to create a more interesting look to the hen house.
