Artist Statement
Coil Pot inspired by the shape of a pear. Started out with slab, and small coils from the extruder. Switched halfway thru to thicker coils to save time. Once the form was built, underglazed the top and bottom of the piece and started sgriffito (inspired by sharp lines of German pottery).
