Artist Statement
My sustained investigation explores the relationship between time and nature. Using synthetic materials such as ribbons to symbolize the passage and flow of time, I focus on the design principles of movement and unity to express themes of evolution and transformation. The flexible, free-form qualities of the ribbons allow me to experiment with the interaction between positive and negative space. Through swirling and curving forms, I aim to convey a sense of organic motion and distortion—mirroring the continuous cycles of growth and adaptation found in nature.
