For my Rhino project titled “Fisch Headquarter,” I envisioned creating a headquarters for a fictional company that either specializes in selling fish meat or discovering rare fish species for aquariums. That concept guided the entire design process. I began by constructing the dock, which served as the foundation of the scene. To achieve this, I used cylindrical shapes to simulate support pillars and layered wooden tiles across the surface. To enhance realism, I applied a broken tile texture that gave the dock a weathered, authentic look. It resembled something you’d expect from a coastal fishery. I was pleased with how convincingly it resembled a real dock.
Once the dock was complete, I moved on to designing the main building, the actual fish headquarters. I started with the entrance, crafting a custom door that included stylized text to give it a unique and professional appearance. The centerpiece of the structure was a large stretched sphere that formed the body of a fish, symbolizing the company’s aquatic theme. Using Rhino’s special drawing tools, I added a fin to the top of the sphere, which gave the building a playful and thematic touch.
To bring the fish character to life, I added expressive features such as eyebrows, eyes, and a mouth. For the teeth, I used the pyramid solid tool and applied a boolean union to integrate them seamlessly into the mouth structure. These details helped transform the building from a simple shape into a character driven architectural piece that reflects the company’s identity.
After completing the model, I captured five different screenshots from various angles to showcase the design. Each view highlights different aspects of the structure, from the dock’s texture to the fish’s facial features. This gives a comprehensive look at the final product. Overall, this project allowed me to explore creative modeling techniques while building a fun and imaginative concept that blends architecture with character design.
