Artist Statement
Using Sub-d in rhino, I created a wave form inspired by tidal waves off the coast of Maidu, simulating its movement as it crashes against the coast of the island. By utilizing recycled plastic bottles strung using recycled strings at varying heights from a pergola structure, I plan to bring awareness to plastic waste in Taiwan and promote environmental consciousness.
