Artist Statement
In this assignment, I learned how to effectively use an AI image (render) generator to visualize creative ideas and concepts. One of the main skills I developed was writing detailed and specific prompts, which helped me produce more accurate and visually appealing results. By carefully describing the environment, architecture, and atmosphere I wanted to create, I was able to guide the AI to generate images that closely matched my vision. I also applied design and modeling techniques I had learned in previous projects, which helped me create a better and more realistic reference for a potential 3D model.
The purpose of this assignment was to recreate our school from a futuristic and modern perspective. Using a combination of online reference images and my imagination, I redesigned the school’s structure, the field layout, and the overall environment to reflect how it might look if rebuilt decades in the future. I incorporated sleek architecture, advanced materials, and modern landscaping to make the design look both functional and innovative.
I really enjoyed this project because it gave me the freedom to imagine and design an educational space based on my own ideas of what a future school should include. It allowed me to combine creativity with technical skills, which made the process both challenging and rewarding. In my opinion, the final rendered images turned out great. The AI-generated visuals were not only high in quality but also successfully represented what I had envisioned in my mind. Overall, this assignment helped me understand how powerful AI tools can be in the creative design process and how they can assist in bringing imaginative concepts to life.
