I think the minimalistic and reductive form of the two sources can be synthesized in my work because I prefer clean and simple shapes when I am making pottery. Lee's sculptures can also be tied to my own Taiwanese heritage. I also like the earthy color palettes that both artists use and it is relevant to my love for nature.
