The process of transforming the ziggurat into a more modern structure mostly involved clearing out an interior and thinking about what I envisoned each floor to be. I eventually settled on something that a supervillan could put a base in. The first floor has a large glass window for them to stare out of while their henchmen gives a report, with 2 offices for the two main henchmen. There's also an area that could be a cafe or resturant, with a balcony looking outwards. Plenty of spaces for people to relax. There's also slitted windows throughout both the first and second floor, allowing natural light. On the bottom level, I specifically gave enough space against the windows for a comfortable bench on both sides of the glass. The bottom floor could be a recreational area or parking garage, with a massive window. Modeling this plan was somewhat difficut. I hand modeled the steps of the stairs, then boolean difference it with the ramp where I wanted the stairs to go. I had to adjust this for each ramp, of which there are many. When making the windows, I also had to ponder the different dimensions and angles. The large window on the top floor has an angled window, so I had to figure out what angle would be comfortable to look through. Too steep of an angle and it might as well be a normal window, and too slanted would result in an uncomfortable viewing angle. I settled with something in between. Another interesting part of my design was a fountain/water slide in the front. To make it, I measured the angle of the ramp and created a cylinder that runs parallel to the ramp. After boolean differencing it, it looks close enough to the path a fountain would take.
