I decided to create a river with a bridge connecting the two sides because I thought it would be something unique and fun to add. I haven’t really seen anyone place a full river inside a historical site before, so I figured it would be interesting to try. I wanted it to stand out and give the whole build a different feel. I did my best to make it look realistic and as close to the actual site as I could. There were definitely some parts that were too complicated or confusing, so I had to simplify them or leave them out. I added the river because in today’s world, people enjoy doing things like riding boats and spending time near water. It makes the site feel more connected to what people like now. It also adds something interactive and brings the whole area to life a bit more. I liked the idea of combining something old and historical with something modern and relaxing. It makes the space feel less like a frozen moment in time and more like something people can actually enjoy and connect with. The bridge isn’t just a way to cross the river it also kind of represents the connection between the past and the present. I wanted the build to feel like it was telling a story, not just showing a place. I tried to be creative and think outside the box. I learned a lot during this project, and even though it was challenging, it was fun to imagine how history could look if it kept growing into the future. I think that there isn’t a historical site where the river is indoor, so I find this building really interesting and unique.
