Artist Statement
"How can I use Contrast, ryhthm, and emphasis to reframe "ugly" and misunderstood animals as fascinating rather than frightening? My investigation explores how texture, movement, and contrast can highlight the often overlooked beauty of these species, drawing out attention to their hidden elegance and complexity. I am to shift the perception, encouraging viewers to look beyond fear and recognize beauty in their forms. Through this combination of biology and storytelling, I hope to reveal how discovery, science, and art can reshape the way people connect to the natural world."
