Artist Statement
This drawing is a visual representation of the profound peace found in a bathtub, where the outside world's clamor fades away. The subject is fully submerged in crystal-clear water, experiencing a moment of pure tranquility. Through the ripples of the water's surface, a world of serene, futuristic architecture emerges, a manifestation of the dreams that persist even in moments of rest.
The scene above the water is vivid and clear: clouds drift across the sky, birds soar freely, and a plane glides by, leaving a trail of white vapor. A lone goose floats peacefully on the surface, a stark contrast to its furiously paddling feet below the water. This symbolizes my life as a high school student, constantly striving and working hard, yet yearning for a moment of quiet, soundless rest.
