Artist Statement
I chose this doll because althroughout my childhood, I was constantly moving from place to place, meaning a lot of my dolls and toys were either given away or sold. Somehow, this doll has stayed. It was a gift from my grandma and I cannot remember how old I was when I got it but me and my sister love her dearly, despite her matted hair, seeming rust growing near the soundbox, and her strings coming undone.
