Artist Statement
I started by drawing out a rough floor plan of my living room, and began sketching. I started by anchoring two points on either side, and drew out a framework. When I started drawing out furniture pieces, I realized that I had drawn my framework wrong, so I had to freehand a little bit of the scaling. I also took a while to figure out the specific colors that matched my furniture. I misjudged the color of one of my markers, so the ceiling looks darker than it should. I also underestimated how big the drawing should be. resulting in it being very small.
