Artist Statement
I've never worked on a canvas as big as this, and certainly not with acrylic, so this was a very new experience for me. I struggled with accepting the paint wasn't going to blend fully, but during that process, I found that using a dry, bigger brush worked well for blending.
In hindsight, I wish I used tape or traced more for the straight edges, because of how not-uniform the cards and ground are.
However, I'm happy with my first big painting (espescially the colors!)
