Artist Statement
This is my first ever piece. Suffice to say, it was quite a journey to make, even though it didn't fufill my final vision, I am proud of the progress I've made over my first semester of fashion. Going from not knowing how to sew, to presenting my Cinematic Silhouette I feel that I have come a long way in my journey as an designer.
The name was inspired by the color, the film that the dress is inspired by (Moulin Rouge), and finally my wonderful model, Ella, and of course Chappell Roan.
