Artist Statement
In this investigation, I explored with mixed media between analogue and digital mediums. I first created the base drawing using intaglio before drawing and finalizing it in Procreate.
This piece represents how although one may forget their past as they grow up, some core childhood memories will always remain to remind them of who they are. In this piece, the precious childhood memory manifests as an old photograph—a memento to who they once were.
