Artist Statement

I sought to explore the contrasting realms inhabited by iconic characters, Mufasa and Scar, from "The Lion King." Through the medium of Rhino rendering, I have depicted the majestic Pride Rock as the domain of Mufasa—a symbol of nobility, strength, and benevolence. In stark contrast, Scar's lair within the hollow, menacing skull represents decay, malevolence, and the pursuit of power through treachery. This juxtaposition not only highlights the architectural distinctions between spaces of light and darkness but also reflects the underlying moral dichotomy that defines the struggle between heroism and villainy. My work aims to evoke a deeper understanding of how environment shapes and mirrors the essence of those who dwell within it.
