Artist Statement
This piece, set in the bustling world of a Japanese metro, explores the juxtaposition of movement and stillness. With the use of blur, I wanted to represent how fast life moves and how people often blend into a rush. But among all the chaos, one person stands still, in a completely different color, almost like they don’t belong. Through this piece, I explored individuality in the crowd and attempted to show that standing apart can be both isolating and powerful.
